The floor patch worked out pretty well. The plywood matches up well with the height of the other flooring. We went around and put metal sheets over all the holes in the floor that were too small to worry about patching with wood. The carpet should cover everything just fine. You can also see the return air covers that I put up.
Kerry and Erin also started painting the trim after Kerry vacuumed up the bedroom floor again. It should be the last time it gets cleaned before the carpet gets put in. I took the doors off to make it easy to paint the door jambs and it is easier for the carpet guys too.
I haven't wired up all the outlets yet so I don't have power to the lights. I started putting up some of the fixtures anyway to get them out of the way. I also put the vents in the ceiling. It is starting to take shape.
Tomorrow we plan on getting the trim painted. I might work on putting up fixtures or work in the bathroom while Kerry paints. She wants to have light that doesn't come from an extension cord.
